Merging Gradebooks

Gradebook date ranges are highly flexible since School Loop’s gradebooks are based on date ranges. You can make changes to the date range of a gradebook or merge gradebooks to alter the date range of a gradebook.  Changes in ranges or merging gradebooks does not affect the underlying data. 

Merging is a special form of editing that combines the date range of two gradebooks, allowing for a complete semester view, for instance.  By default, merged gradebooks assume the grading scales and weighting of the earlier gradebook’s settings.  These settings can then be edited. 

1. Go to the Course Center for the specific course.

 



2. Click Merge to combine the gradebooks.

 

 

2. The newly merged gradebook now covers the combined date range of the two merged gradebooks.
