Report Center

When you need pre-formatted grade reports for an entire class, use the Printer Center Tool. School Loop currently offers three types of grade reports: Complete Gradebook, Grades, and Progress Reports. Each report type is available per period and includes options for ordering by name or ID. The samples below show only a portion of each grade report type.

The Complete Gradebook report includes a summary page showing each student’s overall grade and a listing of each student’s individual grades for every entry in your gradebook. Use this report whenever you need a hardcopy of your entire gradebook.

The Progress Reports from the Print Center are for an entire class. Each student’s report is printed on a separate page. This report includes the same information available in the single student progress reports. (see Progress Reports above).

Roster Tools

This tool actually houses several tools. Perhaps most important is the ability to access an individual student’s record where you will find a wealth of information about that student’s grades, assignments, and teachers for all of their classes From a student record page, you can easily send a message to that student, everyone in their loop, and all their teachers in just a few clicks. There’s even a way to suspend or reinstate a student’s right to communicate using School Loop discussions and LoopMail.

Also housed under Roster Tools is the seating chart tool. Flexible enough to handle almost any size class and configuration, you can create, save, and print seating charts for each of your classes. We even include two weeks worth of attendance boxes under each student name for teacher who wish to take roll on their seating charts.

It’s also possible to download your class rosters in either a plain text format or as a Microsoft Excel document. These downloadable documents include student names, ID numbers, grade level and email address (if available in the student’s School Loop account).

Roster Printout

Choose between a 10- or 20-column spreadsheet with your current class roster. These printouts are convenient for recording grades or attendance.

Section Manager

The Section Manager includes all sections that School Loop has imported from your Student Information System (SIS). This includes sections that you may no longer teach along with new sections assigned to you. The Section Manager allows you to control how you group sections in Course Centers. Course Centers contain gradebooks, web sites, digital lockers, and give you the tools to work with rosters, produce reports, publish assignments, and more.

Section Manager To access the Section Manager, look for the link in the Dashboard of your home page. Additionally, you may access the Section Manager from any Course Center as well as from the course settings page.

In the Section Manager, you will find a list of your sections with the following details pulled directly from the school’s SIS.

To view students click View Roster next to course name.

All you have to do is select which of your current classes will receive the assignment and edit the assign and due dates.
