Each of your courses has its own website for use by your students and their parents. When you publish assignments, they are automatically entered in the calendar for the appropriate course site. When you publish course notes, they are immediately available for your students and are systematically archived for everyone’s convenience. There’s even a course locker where you can store an unlimited number of files and links. Your students and their parents have easy access to your course websites from their accounts.

To access the Site Builder for any of your courses, click on the course name in either the Course Centers pull down menu found on every page or in the Dashboard area of your home page.
There are two ways to view your course sites. From the Site Builder (see Site Builder image above), click on the View Your Site link or the page icon just below that link. In the Dashboard area on your home page, there are links to each of the course sites in the Quick Links section.
Assignments you create are automatically added to the course website calendar and, if desired, can be added to your gradebook. Current assignments also appear in the Dashboard area of your course site (see image below) where students can post questions and comments about the assignment and access a drop box to turn work in online. More information about Publishing Assignments is available on these help pages.
For your convenience, there are several ways to access the Assign Work form: the pull down menu under Publishing tools, an Assign Work button in the Dashboard section of your home page, the Add Item button on any gradebook, and the Assign Work button in the Site Builder section of any Course Center.
For even greater convenience, you can pick any number students to be your Publishing Aides. Students you select as Publishing Aides can post assignments as well as notes to your classes and can do so from their own accounts. More information about Publishing Aides is available on these help pages.
Course notes are similar to assignments but only appear in the course website. Notes provide you with one additional method by which to communicate with your students. More information about Publishing Notes is available on these help pages.

For your convenience, there are several ways to access the Course Notes form: the pull down menu under Publishing Tools, a Publish Notes button in the Dashboard section of your home page, and the Add Notes button in the Site Builder section of any Course Center.
You may upload and store an unlimited number of files and links in the course locker. Text documents, PDFs, and PowerPoint presentations are just a few of the file types you can upload directly from your computer to your course website. For your convenience, all files and links can be organized into folders. Both students and their parents have access to the items you’ve stored in the course locker. More information about the Course Locker is available on these help pages.
In addition to assignments, notes and documents, you may also publish a course description, syllabus, teacher profile, and class rules on your course sites.
Click on any of the links in the Add General Info area of the Site Builder found on every Course Center, and then enter the desired content in the textbox. Click the Submit when ready.

Your content will appear on the right side of your course website. The content may be customized for each course and you may edit as often as necessary.
