Traditional or Mastery Progress Reports

The default (traditional) progress report supports teachers using points-based, or percentage-based grading. Traditionally, the grades are A, B, C, D and F. Numeric to letter grade conversions can be customized using the grade scale per course and even per student.

The mastery progress report supports teachers using mastery-based grading or some flavor of standards-based progress reporting, where it may be useful to hide the letter grade and/or percentage scores from the student progress reports. Visit our Mastery-Based Grading page for more information on how to setup your gradebook to approximate mastery-based, or standards-based grading.
