Send LoopMail
Click the LoopMail icon at the top of your homepage to view your Sent and Received email messages or send a new message. You can also view your Old Inbox and Old Sent box from previous years.

Click the New Message button from inside LoopMail and then click the Add Recipients button. Next, choose the group to which your recipient belongs, and then check the box next to their name. You may choose multiple recipients.
To ensure privacy or simply to hide a really long recipient list, use the BCC feature.
When a recipient reads your email, “viewed” will appear next to the users name on the message in your sent box.

Receive LoopMail
Messages sent to you will appear in you LoopMail Inbox and, for your convenience, are also forwarded to your registered email address. Make sure that you have added schoolloop.com and securemail.schoolloop.com to your address book so that LoopMail messages are not blocked by your spam filters.
Reply to LoopMail
To reply to a LoopMail message from your email account, you must click the large Reply or Reply All buttons in the message itself.

Alternately, you may login to your School Loop account and click the LoopMail icon at the top of your portal page. To reply, click a message title to open it and then click the Reply button at the top left of the page.

Auto Login To Your Account From LoopMail
Part of LoopMail’s convenience is Auto Login, a feature that puts you into your account directly from your email client when you click the Reply or Reply All buttons in your forwarded LoopMail messages. To use Auto Login, you must enable your email client to download images with your messages.
By default, the Auto Login feature is enabled. However you do have the option to turn this feature off. It its also possible that your school has opted to turn this feature off for all users.
If you wish to disable the Auto Login feature, you may do so by clicking the Account Management link from the top right of your Portal Page and clicking the Change button to the right of Allow Auto Login From Email. If you turn Auto Login off, you may still click the Reply or Reply All buttons in forwarded LoopMail messages, but you will be required to log into your School Loop Account by entering your username and password.

Archives
All of the message you send and receive using LoopMail are stored in your School Loop account.
LoopMail cannot be deleted, but is archived as a permanent record. You can archive older messages by checking the box next to the subject line and clicking the Archive Checked button. You can access your archived messages for the current year by clicking the Archive button on the left side of the LoopMail page. You can access LoopMail from past school years by clicking the appropriate buttons on the right hand side of the page.
